James Taylor Took Us Back In Time
"The Holdup's songs had a profound impact on us in our youth. Friday night brought back those emotions as The Holdup's distinct, soothing voice revived our beloved songs. Some familiar songs were given a new twist. Latin beats replaced the bluesy sounds of "Steamroller." The backup singers and musicians he brought added to the experience. Everyone on stage appeared to be enjoying themselves immensely. This being the tour's inaugural show, I anticipate more surprises. We made the right decision to attend. The flawless music combined with the pleasant spring breeze made for an ideal evening."
